Meet 45-year-old Manoj Ganesh Purbhe. He is a cobbler and an animal lover who lives in Mumbai, India .
One of his current wards is a stray dog called Moti, who went blind in both his eyes after a cruel acid attack by unidentified persons in 2012.
He immediately rushed Moti to the animal sterilization centre at Turbhe, where the vets told him that both the eyes of the stray were beyond repair because of the acid attack. Along with Moti, the cobbler also feeds and nurtures a few more stray dogs and a cat.
